VACATION WATCH
Off-duty Baton Rouge Police Officers are contracted to do neighborhood and vacation watch as a service for dues paying members. Officers will walk around and inspect your entire property when he/she is on patrol during your vacation.

Security Tips While You are on Vacation:
Sign up for BOCA Vacation Watch. Make your neighbors aware that the off duty security patrol team will be inspecting your home while you are away.
Let your neighbors know you are going to be on vacation and ask them to keep an eye on the house.
Set your alarm.
Have your paper and mail stopped or ask a neighbor to pick these items up. This is a huge flag for thieves to know that you are not home if the paper isn’t getting picked up as usual.
Have neighbors pick up any packages that are being delivered to your home while you are on vacation.
Keep outside lights on.
